Well, it was fun journey of nine years, but all good things must eventually come to an end. So, life and other projects kept me from doing any more Pony fanart, but I never stopped watching the show and reading the comics (the latter of which are still ongoing as of this post). Though now that the show is over, there really is no more reason for me to go back to this account (except maybe occasionally, to read any new comments). I noticed it's been two years since my last journal here. Time sure flies fast! Yes, I'm still alive. However, I don't think I'll be drawing pony again anytime soon... if ever. Don't get me wrong, though: I'm still watching the show/movies and reading the comics (I'm up-to-date on both fronts). What really happened is that two years ago I started drawing a comic of my own, and I devoted pretty much all of my (spare) time and attention to it. So, you could say I moved on from drawing pony. Still, it was fun while it lasted, and I'm glad that lots of other people enjoyed my stuff. It was also great practice, as I learned lots of new techniques

E-ques-tri-a girls, we're kind of magical! Boots on hooves, bikinis on top! No, wait... So, I watched Equestria Girls last weekend. My verdict? It was... pretty good actually! I enjoyed it for the most part. No, it wasn't perfect, but I think the pony team did a pretty decent job with the (admittedly not very exciting) premise Hasbro chucked at them. Kudos to Meghan McCarthy for steering what should have been a horrible trainwreck into something that is actually watchable, even brilliant at certain points.
